Delivery to germany was very fast. The polaris 4K is a Great Laser TV with excellent sharpness and brilliant Colors. With a ALR/CLR screen it is usable as a TV replacement even in sunny conditions. I recommed the Polaris to everyone who loves watching movies on a big screen.
I was skeptical at first about upgrading to a laser projector, but the quality and picture is absolutely stunning! The colors and clarity are what makes this projector top notch and the sound emitted from the unit is barely noticeable. One minor feedback that I would add is it have keystone correction. Overall great product!!
The following review is for as used with a high quality screen. Pros. This unit has a picture that is beyond my expectations as compared to an 85” QLED. It is bright enough for daytime viewing, but really shines in a light controlled room. Sound quality is also good for its size and works as standalone for general viewing. Note that as viewed from 15-18feet and ceiling mounted, volume must be at 40% plus to be usable. The fans are not loud and have not been noticed after several hours of viewing at 45% or higher volume. Cons. It needs Keystone or lens shift adjustment. This unit must be positioned exactly where you need it or the image will be out of position or shifted. It also needs laser registration adjustment / calibration. My unit also has a slight registration issue which results in some minor blurring at the edges at 150”. As noted, the slightest moment will result in a substantial image shift. Overall if you are looking to have a very large theater experience at home, this will provide it if you are also willing to invest is a high quality screen.
State of the art performance. Vivid colors and motion. Could use additional HDMI ports in future versions & Dolby Vision support. It’s a steal from a spec standpoint to comparable Hisense LG9 equipment (who are OEM into this product anyway)
The quality is a pleasant surprise as it delivers the 4K movie experience with just plug & play set up. The movie experience at home is transformed better when combined with Bomaker's Njord II sound system. Loving the product so far.
